Venues

Tonic Ball takes place at five separate venues on the same night, all conveniently located within walking distance of one another in Fountain Square. They are:

radio_radioRadio Radio featuring the music of Jimi Hendrix – As one of the premier music venues in Indianapolis, Radio Radio is a coveted destination for local and national bands alike. Owned and operated by music industry veteran David “Tufty” Clough, the venue boasts a first-class sound system, a beautiful winding bar, hardwood trim, and a captivating atmosphere that has played host to countless prominent musical acts. When you hang out at Radio Radio, you’re bound to see the “next big thing” in music—and you’ll probably meet some pretty cool people, too.

whiterabbitWhite Rabbit Cabaret featuring the music of Aretha Franklin – The White Rabbit Cabaret is a venue unlike any other in Indianapolis. In addition to musical acts, the venue also hosts burlesque bingo nights, stand up comedy, and lots of other unique events you simply won’t find anywhere else. You won’t find a more interesting place for a show in Fountain Square—or in all of Indy.

indy-fountainsquareFountain Square Theatre hosting the sponsor experience – Originally built in 1928, the Fountain Square Theatre was designed to show feature films and to host vaudeville performances. The theatre was closed in the late 1950’s and converted into a five and dime store. In 1994, the theatre began extensive renovations. Today, it’s a beautiful starlight courtyard surrounded by columned arches and beautiful artwork—and it’s also become one of Indy’s most iconic venues for music, dancing, corporate functions, and much more.

The Hi-Fi featuring the music of Taylor Swift – HI-FI is Indianapolis’ premier mid-size club and concert venue. At 400 capacity, concert-goers get a chance to see their favorite up and coming live acts in an intimate, listening-room type setting. After a renovation in 2017 HI-FI continues to bring quality national, regional, and local bands to a stage near you. With 20-25 shows a month there is something for everyone!

Square Cat Vinyl featuring the music of OutKast – Square Cat s a Swiss Army knife of a venue. By day, it’s all business — selling new and used vinyl records, soul warming Tinker and Black Heart coffees, a wide variety of unique local and regional craft beer options. And the shop transforms to a music venue for those who are tired of missing amazing songwriters that should be inspiring the next generation.
