FAQ for Concertgoers

2019 updates coming soon… In the meantime, here’s last year’s information.

Where does Tonic Indy take place?
The Tonic Ball takes place in five venues on the 1100 block of east Prospect, from Shelby to Olive, in beautiful Fountain Square – Radio Radio, White Rabbit Cabaret, the Fountain Square Theatre, Pioneer and The Hi-Fi. We’ll close down Prospect from Shelby to Olive Streets so you can roam freely between the venues.

Where do I pick up my tickets?
Tickets will be available to pick up at the Fountain Square Theatre starting at 4:30pm on the night of the show, at Tiny Tonic on November 11th, or at Second Helpings.

What’s the night of the Ball like?
The Tonic Ball is a giant concert in five venues with 70+ bands paying tribute to some of rock’s biggest legends. It’s one of the most popular nights of the year in Indy, and we sell out early. The good thing, is that’s more money to fight hunger and poverty, but it also makes for a very busy and crowded night. Attendees should be aware that due to the capacity limits of Radio Radio, The Hi-Fi, Pioneer, and White Rabbit, we cannot promise that every ticket holder can get in to every venue. There’s just not room. And, in the past, there have been lines down the block to get into different venues. We recommend showing up early! Be aware that there is always plenty of room in the Fountain Square Theatre.

How Should I Dress for the Ball?
The Tonic Ball is a rock show. It’s also one of the hottest tickets in town. Dress up or dress down, it’s your pick. We recommend wearing something that makes you feel bad ass.

Where Should I Park in Fountain Square?
There’s no dedicated lot for Tonic Ball. There’s ample street parking in Fountain Square, but it’s first come, first serve. There’s street parking on Virginia Avenue and Prospect. There is plenty of parking at Second Helpings for Tiny Tonic.

What to do in Fountain Square?
We recommend you make a whole evening of the Ball in the beautiful Fountain Square neighborhood. One of Indy’s newest destinations for food and fun, Fountain Square has more food, drink, and culture than anyone can fit into one evening.

There are ATMs around Fountain Square. Specifically in the Fountain Square Theatre and banks on Virginia Avenue. They normally run out by midnight. Come prepared.

21+ with ID
Radio Radio, White Rabbit Cabaret, The Hi-Fi, and Pioneer are 21+ venues, and they card accordingly. The Fountain Square Theatre is an all ages venue, although they do serve alcohol.

Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at Tonic Ball in every venue. Soda and water will also be available for purchase. Outside alcohol, drinks, or coolers are not permitted in the venues.

Taxi Cab & Ride Service Information
Contact information for cabs and ride-sharing services will be available on site at the event. We strongly encourage you to use them if you’ve been consuming alcohol.
